Tyrone.

I am not sure if you know who Tyrone Wells is, but he is awesome and hands down my favorite singer/songwriter out there.  I was introduced to Tyrone about 3 years ago through my friend Lindsey and later got to know him due to my friend Stanley who was his buddy buddy.  Long story short- every time Tyrone plays, Stanley and I are there... we stand in the line to say hello to him and we always laugh at that because we know him but we are standing in the meet and greet to say hi along with all of the crazy fans!

So... when I decided to start my photography business I began reaching out to people I knew regarding pictures and an opportunity for me to build my portfolio.  Michael and I had ran in to Tyrone and his wife Elina at a Forever 21 and she mentioned they were expecting.  Not only was I excited for their little bundle of joy, I was excited to take her baby bump pictures. Elina so graciously was up for the shoot.  I drove out to their house in Chino- which was quite a drive from Hollywood but in my opinion well worth it.  Trying not to be a "fan" and more of a friend/professional I arrived at the house ready to go. I was greeted by their adorable dog along with pregnant Elina.  She walked me through the house, into the nursery, told some awesome little stories about artwork and a stuffed lamb she had and then into their bedroom and her closet to help her pick out a few outfits. Although I do KNOW Tyrone, it was still completely awesome to be standing in their house. I felt like my excitement for who's pictures I was taking may have made me a little awkward and nervous but nonetheless, we packed into my car and headed to a beautiful park up the street.

We took quite a few nice shots and I am excited to go through them and edit :) I always get slightly discouraged every now and then thinking I could be a better photographer or I want to know so much and I don't know it all yet but needless to say, the pictures did turn out great and I will post them on my photography blog as soon as I get her approval!

On to other news, I won an iPad2 last night at my company work Christmas Party. I am stoked to play around with my new toy but unfortunately it is going to be a while.  Tonight I head to Coto to get some more newborn pictures of my nephew.  Tomorrow is Sara Bareilles with Michael.  Saturday I have two photo shoots and then off to San Diego for 91WREX where we will see Florence+the Machine. Sunday and relaxation can't come fast enough!
