Jerry.

Trying to grab a little free internet to finish some work this am, I hopped in to a Starbucks and plopped myself down at a table. About 20 minutes into my editing this man walks in, Jerry.  He walks straight to the bar (without paying) and states his order.  The man behind the bar, not very excited, fulfills his request. You can tell the type of person Jerry is.  Jerry was given a free coffee once and now he feels that he owns the place.  I figured maybe he would slip him some money at the bar rather than having to wait in the line but nothing. I have been to this Starbucks before and I have seen Jerry waltz in like he owns the place. People like Jerry make me think, "How often do you take an inch and make it a mile?" "How often do people do us a favor and then we expect that all the time?" With the season, I thought it would be nice to sit and reflect upon being grateful, rather than taking advantage of people and things.
